How Men Benefit and Contribute to the System

"Jaldi se jake dupatta pehno, guests aaye hai"....., "Mandir jana hai saree pehan lo"......,

"Theek se baitho, ladkiya aise nai baithti"......, "Bahar padhne jayegi, akeli rahegi kuch ho gaya to humari izzat ka kya"...... etc,

I was scrolling through a social network platform when I found a video of this man disguise himself as godfather telling people if wearing short clothes is becoming modern than his buffalo is more modern because she does not wear anything, I reached to the comment section and find all men supporting him and ending their comment with Jai Shree Ram. I wondered why they think if they are the only one who pray Ram or they are the only one belong to Sanatan, they keep on telling how wearing short clothes is not our Sanskriti, how wearing short clothes leads to rape, how we pray women as goddess in our Hindu culture and how it is not written in our religion to wear short clothes. These were some misogynists who support a patriarchal society and took the contract to improve it by telling women to live as per their standards, these types of thinking are supported by these godfathers who are polluting their minds. But are only these godfathers responsible for downfall of women ? No, there are lot factors which lead men to behave in such way.

1. Generation Gap

No wonder India came a long way in development in such short time after Independence though we move forward, our mentality is left behind. we still living in past as our parents never saw big change in society and it's not their fault, what went wrong is not moving with change, not accepting truths that a women can also run house. If we look around, people with similar age as our parents we find 3-5 percent working women only rest were homemakers because when they were young, there was a lack of education and people were so poor that they could not afford education of every children. Also dowry plays and important part to deficit education in girls life. As soon government realizes it they took measures to educate every child but till then people became stereotypes and assumed a girl child is burden and disgrace to family, burden because to marry her they need to give dowry and disgrace because men around will always have an evil eye for their daughter. 

The thing is people makes family and family makes society, until and unless we as a society will not accept our girls and women, stop telling her how to behave and start telling our sons and men's how to behave with other gender we will not make any development.  

 2. Following Wrong People

We as a human have this urge of copying something done by others whether it is vacation, buying a new car or wearing branded clothes just because we fantasise the enjoyment enjoyed by others. In this race we sometimes support people who have conservative mentality or attention seeker.

A political party representative gave a statement after a rape case "ladke hai galti ho jaati hai" (boys do made mistakes sometimes), later the party distributed bicycle to girls who succeed SSC exam. Political parties like this should be banned but they came into power because we as a people failed to judge them due to our corrupted mind and greediness. We should know whom we are supporting rather than blindly following them just because they use the name of our gods or cried out in the name of culture. We must know our culture to differentiate good and bad. Yes in our culture women are prayed like goddess but do we really?? these goddess are beaten up by their in-laws, these goddess are treated like a servant, these goddess treated like burden and these goddess are treated like animal. You talk about sanatan but do you know the real meaning of sanatan? you shouting Jai Shree Ram do you know Lakshman never saw Sita mata's face out of respect, that is our dharma. you know Narad muni always reciting Narayan still he was not the biggest devotee of Narayan. People who said they are the greatest bhakt and talk ill about women are fake and we should differentiate them from others rather than supporting report them.

3. Internet

All thanks to reliance for creating a revolution in mobile network services, now we are able to access unlimited internet and due to which we spend most of the time on social media platform. any news on social media spread like fire because of which some people are using it for spreading wrong messages like I said in the start. A small video of how women must take care of their husbands, how some religion are threat to our culture and many more, these platforms allow people to comment their thoughts as well. A 2 minute video can pollute a large crowd on these platforms and you look at the comment section if one or two comments are in favour of it than the whole crowd agrees, what needs to worried is teenagers are also present on these platforms and now a days parents spend less time with their children as both are working professional. Teenage age is like a raw pitcher which mould as per their environment and what they see and hear. If they see their father beating their mother and not respecting her, women will always afraid of relationship and men will always treat opposite gender in a disrespectful manner. I am not saying it happens always but you should know most of the time children copies their parent and their are lot of videos and messages available of internet that shows women should respect opposite gender as it is our culture..... but doo you ever think what our culture says about men?? 

Our epics always throw light on how to respect women and Mahabhart war was the proof of disrespecting women, people who talk about culture and telling women to follow something they want does really know how to respect women. Just because a girl is wearing full clothes you will respect her what about a saree our mother use to wear which has a 4 inch visibility, even earlier women used to wear saree without blouse with a large portion of her body visible so what you disrespect them no right then why you have a problem with shorts or skirts.

People says wearing western clothes is disrespecting our culture and religion, I would like to know from them do you know our Sanatan dharma was the oldest religion and nobody knows what actually people wore that time, the pictures of god and goddess you see are a mere depiction not the reality. 

Also, earlier women use to fight war so they wore armour on war dress not saree, those who say jeans and trousers are men's clothing, trousers are evolution of pyjamas, salwar kameez was never worn by women's in our culture they are evolved after Islamic invaders, parda system was also the result of foreign invasion. 

So, before telling anyone what our sanskriti and culture is, how women must behave as per our religion, what they should do to earn respect, think do you really know or are even aware of our culture, do you look other women as your sister or mother like our epics? Do you?
